It's used to treat fungal infections. Mycostatin is a similar product.
Nystatin is an " anti-fungal" medication,used within treatment of fungal infections like "thrush," vaginal yeast infections etc. It can be given as a cream, applied to the skin,or vaginally,vocally as a "swish & swallow",or IV for blood infections.Other similar drugs are Tioconazole,Butoconazole.
