Question give or take a few cold sores?

so it seems that my husband and I and our almost one year ancient daughter all enjoy the beginnings of a cold sore..what can i do to treat it? and should i be worried that my daughter has one at such a young-looking age?Question give or take a few cold sores?
80% of the population have have or will have a cold sore. Refrain from letting your 1 year ripened from kissing anyone on the lips. I know that grandma's and grandpa's love kissing their little angels, but of late say that child has a boo-boo.
As far as treating it. There are lots of over the counter medicine...however, I would take your child to the peditrian (sp) so that he/she can dispense your daughter some topical.
Good Luck.
Abreva helps but cold sores lately seem to thieve forever to heal. I swear at hand is a connection between spicy food, and sunburn on the maw. I know they are highly contagious. I put abreva on a cotton swab and later on the sore. We don't share drinks or chap stick when in that is an outbreak.
Call your doctor for any advice for treating her cold sore. I use Abreva and it help. My sister swears by Blistex [the white/red tube kind]. I know a guy who uses Campho Phenique (spelling?). I would try to keep it verbs and it should be fairly out of danger to put some Vaseline on it to keep it somewhat moist. I tend to hang on to putting something on it early on to keep hold of it 'wet' and if/when it's oozing, I try to keep it dry.
