Hi, Go on the American Diabetes web-site. There is a phone number that is (1-800-342-2383). When you nickname ask for their publication books that come with a dictionary. I guess there are 7-9 surrounded by all. They will distribute you out a set of small books that will help you near your diet. They are free.
I usually go ahead and telephone and order them for my friends so that they hold them. Each book covers all the different aspects of Diabetes. Hope this help you out. If you have any problem, email me and I will try and help out! Take care!
P.S. Look within Yahoo groups and you will find one that deals near whatever Type diabetic you are. There are ones for Type 2. Even design from a Type 1 group won't hurt either.
