Pimple on lip or cold sore?

I have a small red dot on my upper lip. It seem I keep getting one every month or so. They usually are sore and sort of tender, and lift about two weeks/a week to be in motion away if I use clearasil. The thing is, I don't know if It's a cold sore because it doesn't break and scab resembling a cold sore is supposed to, but it doesn't develop a white head close to a pimple. Any thoughts?Pimple on lip or cold sore?
It does sound similar to a cold sore, but it is possible it is a pimple. Cold sores do not follow the guidelines that you often read just about on the net. They appear to make up their own rules for respectively person they infect!
If it is a cold sore, don't stress it too much. Most citizens eventually end up next to herpes type 1 at some point. To be sure, you can have your doctor culture it. If it is positive you may choose to help yourself to antivirals such as Valtrex to stop them from showing up. No one likes to contract with cold sores whether they are on your frontage or your genitals!
If it is a cold sore, clearasil will not help it treat faster. Try a medication made for cold sores to speed up the healing. 2 weeks every month or so is method too frequent to have to promise with that.
Until you know for sure, avoid touching your lip to anyone else or sharing anything that have touched your lip when the sore is present!

UM IM NOT SURE BUT I WILL THINK THAT IT IS A COLD SORE BUT U CAN GET IT LIKE EVERY MONTH BEFORE OR AFTER PERIOD AND THEY DO LAST A WEEK OR SO BUT JUST WHEN U GET IT CLEAN IT AND DNT PLAY WITH IT ALOT
